Jocelyn Zhang is a Canadian flutist who finds joy in creating music alongside others and building connections with audiences. As an orchestral flutist and chamber musician, Jocelyn has performed with the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra, National Academy Orchestra in Canada, Chautauqua Music Festival Orchestra, and Trentino Music Festival Orchestra in Italy. As a soloist, she was winner of the 2024 University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) Piccolo Concerto Competition. Jocelyn earned her Artist Diploma and Master of Music from CCM and holds a Bachelor of Music from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. Her primary teachers include Demarre McGill, Randolph Bowman, Amy Taylor, and Thomas Robertello. In her spare time, you can find her either knitting, or looking for her next knitting project.
